Sunday is Funday at the dog park.

We spent some time at the dog park on Sunday. I love doing dog field trips and Shirlington Dog Park is a very popular destination with the dogs. I had some help from friends so I could keep at eye on all dogs at all times. It went really well, no problems at all, just 100% fun!

The dogs ran around like crazies and eventually went for a dip in the cool water. Bean and Rowdy are obsessed with tennis balls and we just kept throwing them over and over. My dog just jumps around and looks for garbage to play with while Little Teddy chews on sticks. Rowdy is the dog on the far right in the group of retrievers. He found 3 friends who also love fetching things and stuck by their side the whole time.

Pictured are: Rowdy (Golden Retriever), Bean (Westie), Teddy (My dog - Shelter dog, mixed breed), and Little Teddy (Chocolate Lab). The other dog pictured is a American Bulldog named Busy. She has two sisters but they weren't allowed to come because they are not social butterflies like she is (they get nervous around other dogs).
