Teddys Friends would like to announce that we will be participating in the Gay Pride Parade in DC on Saturday, June 13th at 6:30pm!!!!!!! How cool is that?!?! We can't wait for this event! I am so excited to join the party and ride down Pennsylvania Avenue with a Teddys Friends float in support of our friends and a great organization.
The theme for the event is “Generations of Pride: Celebrate and Remember - Stonewall at 40.” If anyone has any ideas of what kind of float decor we should do, please let us know. We need to combine a dog theme with gay pride, so,....? Yeah, I need help.
Also, we would love to get some volunteers so e-mail me if you'd like to join the fun. I think building a float would be a blast and the Teddys Friends dogs are super-excited too!
